We are pleased to announce
a new fabric collection developed by Mary
Fisher - artist, author, AIDS activist, and
international speaker. These new designs
have been hand created from her watercolors
and artwork, and are made from the highest
quality materials.
If you are looking for
something fresh, something different, to
incorporate into your project, Mary Fisher
will not disappoint with her new fabric
designs. The cotton fabric is 75 count,
giving it a soft drape and making it perfect
for quilting, sewing, fashion, and décor
projects.
Mary is using a variety of
colors and textured prints in her new fabric
designs. From soft, flowing watercolor
blends to block prints and hand painted
plaids and stripes, each design is created
with a handmade touch. They are not
computer-generated prints, rather hand
detailed lines from Mary Fisher's creative
mind.
"Every
Living Thing" is a collection that
features Mary's watercolor flowers and
nature-inspired works. The result is a
garden of blooming color, brimming with the
essence of natural beauty in our world.
These new fabric designs are a celebration
of the gift of nature.
The "Pathways"
series was inspired by Mary's travels to
Africa and is offered in three color-ways.
From the tribal feel of "Pods" and "Ground
Cover" to the whimsy of "Stepping Stones"
and "Seeds", the new "Pathways"
fabric designs are a remarkable tribute to
the aesthetic qualities of the African
landscapes and lifestyles.
"Every
Living Thing" and
"Pathways" include Mary's Watercolor Basics.
These fabrics offer a new blender for both
traditional and art quilters. The unusual
watercolor markings make it a perfect fabric
for creating scenery, blending, or setting
off prints within the collection. The look
of Watercolor Basics is notably different
from that of batik and hand dyed fabric and
will be a pleasing addition to your stash of
new fabric designs.
